We’re getting innovative with our 2020 wedding planning and tailoring it for the current times. We’re excited to announce a partnership with some amazing vendor colleagues, including Matte Box Memories, to bring you a summer 2020 wedding package ideal for smaller, backyard-style weddings. it includes an amazing option to livestream your ceremony for family and friends around the world who can’t be there due to current restrictions.

Many couples are choosing to get married this summer with a small, intimate outdoor ceremony for only their closest family and friends. They are choosing to hold larger receptions in the future, when social gatherings are less restricted.

Our new summer 2020 wedding package arranges a magical, intimate ceremony with a professional videographer to capture your ceremony in glorious colour and detail while live-streaming it to your friends and family around the world. Share your vows in real time!

For the wedding planning aspect, Maureen Brown and her event planning team will handle every detail and logistical concern: sanitization, safe food and drink handling, managing the caterers, as well s assuring the flow and transition of guests. She will make sure everything is seamlessly paced and smooth. Maureen is a master at both the big picture and little details—you won’t have to worry about a thing!

What you get with Emerald Events’ Summer 2020 Wedding Package

PROFESSIONAL VIDEO & A LIVE-STREAMED CEREMONY

Stream your ceremony via WiFi hub to your friends and family across the globe, using three camera angles and professional microphones to pick up every word and expression. You will receive a documentary cut of the ceremony via private YouTube link for future viewing—we suggest this is an awesome way to share at your reception, if one is planned at a future date.

Many wedding videographers shoot weddings on a single camera or use multiple cameras with rudimentary equipment or have little to no experience. Matte Box Memories has years of diverse videography and photography experience, creating videos for a range of clients including major corporations and large-scale live events. His talented team will capture the magic of your wedding with three cameras and unique camera operators, multiple inputs, and inputting the special music you choose to play at your ceremony. The end result is a mastered, slick and professional documentary-style video for you to cherish and share.

Matte Box can even set up a projector room for you at your wedding—a “zoom room”, where the bride and groom can see and communicate with their guests around the world. If you wish, add two hours of professional photography by the Matte Box Memories team for only $500. It’s an incredible value with amazing, professional results. 

FLAWLESS WEDDING COORDINATION for PEACE OF MIND

Emerald Events will help you set up the ceremony area and tables, set out food and help with food service (food comes hot and in chafing dishes—for safety, we won’t be serving buffet-style this summer, but we will plate at guests’ requests). You’ll have access to our décor items such as lanterns and votives. Note that the entire crew, from the videographers to the caterers, will have masks, gloves, and Emerald Events will provide a sink with running water for guests to wash their hands, no matter where the ceremony is held.

PRO DJ FOR MUSIC, MICROPHONES, and the DANCE FLOOR

Music master DJ George from Spin Doctor DJ will come in and set up for your ceremony, playing inviting arrival music for your guests. He will professionally play the music for your ceremony without a worry or a hiccup, so you can just relax and enjoy your day. After the ceremony, DJ George will play music for a cocktail hour and provide a microphone for speeches. After that, he’ll get the dance floor started by playing music for your first dance. Before George leaves, he will set up the speaker system so you can connect to your iPhone or laptop and dance the night away!

This speaker system can be returned to Emerald Events the following day, along with any borrowed décor. The DJ George will be onsite for a total of 3-4 hours.

DELICIOUS CATERING

The team from Catering Visions will drop off an incredible selection of delectable, fresh food for you and your guest to dine on. Includes real plates, cutlery, paper napkins, a food warmer, and serving utensils. For $5 extra per person, you can choose three salads and two entrees.

You’re welcome to customize the package features for your unique needs, but it may change the price. The package is priced on 20 guests, but can be scaled up for larger groups up to 50.
