Sometimes people forget about dressing up their wedding ceremony.
We think it’s a missed opportunity if you do forget, though, because it sets the tone of your nuptials and welcomes in your guests. Keep in mind that there may be limitations set by your church or temple, so check in with them before you make decor plans. If you’re getting married outside or in a unique setting, you can be as wild or as elegant as you like.
STYLING IDEAS FOR YOUR WEDDING AISLE
Flowers are a great place to start!
One of the prettiest ways to dress up your ceremony is with plants in pots, flowers or arrangements. You can dress the entire length of the aisle, or just every few rows of chairs. The bigger the arrangements, the less of them you’ll need. Keep in mind that you can repurpose the flowers in your reception later on. Even just placing a few grand floral statement pieces in the ceremony area can have a great impact.
Visually interesting chairs or other furniture
You might want to cover your ceremony chairs with interesting and varied chair covers for a flowing, romantic feel. You can opt for using a variety of chairs to spruce up the ceremony, too. If your furnishings are interesting visually, you may not even need flowers.
You can never go wrong with abundant florals down the aisle, whether it’s sprinkling petals along the aisle or lush arrangements everywhere. It’s all about ROMANCE. Can you tell we really love flowers?!
No matter how you decide to dress up your wedding ceremony, try to repurpose what you can and limit waste.
