Virtual events: how businesses and influencers are connecting

Virtual events might sound a little out there and sci-fi, but they’ve been happening for decades. Now in 2020, they’re becoming more commonplace than ever. Businesses and artists are looking for new ways to connect during these times of social isolation. Virtual events can range from live-tweeting to livestreaming and tutorials to tastings. Even massive conferences are moving online, which not only significantly reduces the cost but the carbon footprint, too.

So, whether you have a digital event already in the works, or you’re looking for brand new inspiration, here are some examples of how innovative folks are putting virtual events to good use.
